Excitement!!

As mentioned in the previous entry, I'm going to Japan on 11 October. It's a business trip, i'll be going will a fellow colleague 7 also my japanese boss. Though it will be a short stay of 4 days (11/10 to 15/10), i'm still extremely excited... Can't hide my happiness.. Woohooo!!!

We will take a flight to Japan on 11/Oct, then go to my company at Gunma, Maebashi. The next day will to going to Tokyo, hopefully i will have time to do some shopping. Got a whole list of things to buy. if can hope to meet my cousin who is on long-term stay at Tokyo. The next 3 days will be in Maebashi.

I have never been to Japan before, let alone say going overseas without my family. I know I may not deserve to be on the trip but i can't help it. Please don't blame me. I can't possibly tell my sup that :" Hey, let someone else go, i don't deserve that." It's something once in a blue moon chance, how can i let that chance slip through my fingers.
I will try to buy stuff, but no promises... Maybe from DFS also can lah...

Snow.Wolf.Lake

if you do not know what is Snow.Wolf.Lake, i think you have missed so much of Jacky Cheung.... the critically acclaimed musical created by jacky (hong kong singer)....

last night(thanks to my boss who gave me tickets, becos he & his wife can't make it to the show), i went to watch the show together with my sister... the show is impossible to be describe in words. absolutely wonderful!! there was a standing ovalation(sp?) at the end of the show..

i had a rather good view of the show... a little touched by the story but didn't cry though...

i hate to say that i missed the one with kit chan... though i didnt watch the previous one, i think i would feel more if kit chan was in the show.

SNOW WOLF LAKE

- A Chinese Musical Extravaganza by Jacky Cheung

Lead actor:
Jacky Cheung

Lead actresses:
1. Yvonne Hsu
2. Nnadia Chan

The eternal love unfolds 8 years ago. This year, the myth continues to conquer the world.

Different from its debut show in Cantonese eight years ago at the Hong Kong Coliseum, this time a brand-new stage design was created by Cheung, who was director and art director for the Mandarin version of Snow Wolf Lake.

A strong entourage of 200 people includes casts, dancers, make-up, bands, orchestras and production team with production cost of over 10 million Singapore dollars!

Catch the spectacular and moving Chinese Musical: Snow.Wolf.Lake

The Chinese musical extravaganza is a tragic love story about Wolf, who is a poor gardener and in love with Snow, a girl from a rich family, as he commits suicide with his lover when they drown themselves in the Snow Wolf Lake, the place where they first expressed their passions for each other.

Snow.Wolf.Lake has been highly acclaimed as one of the most important Chinese-language musical creations since its debut in 1997. The renowned God of Songs, Jackie Cheung gave 43 consecutive performances in Cantonese, which set a box-office record in Hong Kong's musical history and marked the peak of his singing career.

Snow.Wolf.Lake, the Mandarin version musical world tour kicked off last Christmas Eve in Beijing and has been traveling around China's major cities. This September, Snow Wolf Lake will starts touring to countries like Singapore and the United States. The tour will run until February 2006.

Snow.Wolf.Lake is an extravaganza in all senses of the word. No expense was spared, from the spectacular set to the colorful costumes.

Personality Defect Test

Televangelist
You are 42% Rational, 71% Extroverted, 42% Brutal, and 71% Arrogant.
As the Lord as my witness, I swear upon the good book that you are indeed the TELEVANGELIST! Characterized by extreme arrogance, self-assurance, and extroversion, you would make a very charismatic leader (or a very despotic one). On top of that, you are also more intuitive than rational, predisposing you to a more spiritual or emotional outlook on life. Thus, you are thoroughly irrational. You also tend to be rather gentle and considerate of others' feelings. Clearly, you would make the perfect televangelist. Emotional, extroverted, arrogant, and gentle, you annoy the hell out of people who have to listen to the feel-good, intuitive shit spewing from your mouth. Not only that, but people may look down on you as a self-centered asshat. So while you are gentle and genuinely care about others, it is quite clear that you still care about yourself MORE. Why is your personality flawed? Because you are too damned extroverted, emotional, and arrogant. So preach your irrational message, brotha-man! I assure you, no one will be listening!

To put it less negatively:

1. You are more INTUITIVE than rational.

2. You are more EXTROVERTED than introverted.

3. You are more GENTLE than brutal.

4. You are more ARROGANT than humble.

Compatibility:

Your exact opposite is the Spiteful Loner.

Other personalities you would probably get along with are the Hippie, the Starving Artist, and the Robot.

If you scored near fifty percent for a certain trait (42%-58%), you could very well go either way. For example, someone with 42% Extroversion is slightly leaning towards being an introvert, but is close enough to being an extrovert to be classified that way as well. Below is a list of the other personality types so that you can determine which other possible categories you may fill if you scored near fifty percent for certain traits.

The other personality types:

The Emo Kid: Intuitive, Introverted, Gentle, Humble.

The Starving Artist: Intuitive, Introverted, Gentle, Arrogant.

The Bitch-Slap: Intuitive, Introverted, Brutal, Humble.

The Brute: Intuitive, Introverted, Brutal, Arrogant.

The Hippie: Intuitive, Extroverted, Gentle, Humble.

The Televangelist: Intuitive, Extroverted, Gentle, Arrogant.

The Schoolyard Bully: Intuitive, Extroverted, Brutal, Humble.

The Class Clown: Intuitive, Extroverted, Brutal, Arrogant.

The Robot: Rational, Introverted, Gentle, Humble.

The Haughty Intellectual: Rational, Introverted, Gentle, Arrogant.

The Spiteful Loner: Rational, Introverted, Brutal, Humble.

The Sociopath: Rational, Introverted, Brutal, Arrogant.

The Hand-Raiser: Rational, Extroverted, Gentle, Humble.

The Braggart: Rational, Extroverted, Gentle, Arrogant.

The Capitalist Pig: Rational, Extroverted, Brutal, Humble.

The Smartass: Rational, Extroverted, Brutal, Arrogant.

my thoughts for the moment

quoting rebby's blog entry:
sometimes people's happiness is just on the surface, we all seem to be happy on the front but doesn't really reveal what we are actually thinking of until we are all alone. we can hide it from everyone but we can't hide it from god. things are never the same now, for better for worse, we hv to take it in our stride and just leave it to him to work things out, rather than putting a strangle hold on it and not let the master go to work...

i'm not a christian or christ-believer, but i felt a lot for the above quote... i've been doing a lot of thinking, sometimes, people who appears to be your fren or close to you, may not know what you are actually thinking about... that is because you have hidden one side of you from everybody...

HOT NEWS!!!

the next Harry Potter & the Goblet of Fire trailer will be release on 16 Sept!!!

peak season

i'm really very busy these days... once again, it is the peak season for production over at my co. so i seldom blog...
for the past week, i'm practically working from 8am to 7.30pm on weekdays... without breaks in between, i forfeited my tea breaks of 15 mins twice a day and a 45-min lunch time to complete a huge quantity of work load...
it feels as if i am working for myself... but if, work cannot be completed on schedule who gets the blame? ME!!!
