World Cup Fever

have been watching a lot of soccer these few days. total craze.
a lot of 3am matches. Brazil vs Aust, England vs Sweden, France vs Korea, etc.
Bloody tired already, still have to go for the math class.

noting the refresher math class, I was kinda disappointed with PSB's arrangement when I went to my 1st lesson last friday. the lecturer is working with RP, the newest poly in Singapore, they have this new method of teaching, where lecturers & tutors are facilitators and the students mainly have to conduct discussions to find their answers. So going back to my disappointment, that said lecturer used RP's methodology on us. Of course, most of the students have not been schooling for at least 2 years are all questioning the problem solving. So I did the mean thing to call PSB's nicole, who is the course co, and feedback. Not really sure if the feedback worked or not, but after the call, there are some changes to his teaching.

now i'm watching japan vs brazil match. technically, brazil will win. But I still kinda am rooting for Japan. Haven't been betting for 2 days already, 'course losses have already been covered. :P

Japan vs Australia

I feel that the Japanese played a good game yesterday. Although they are smaller in size than the Aussies, but the speed is wooohooo!!
All we can say is blame it on the weather in Germany now. Damn hot.. Think in the last 10 mins, the japs already a bit tired and feel the win is just around the corner. So a bit slack with the defense liao. Just look at the stunned face of Kawaguchi.
But he really did well with the save of 3 attempts from the aussies. Nice game there.

Now watching Brazil vs Croatia. Just don't give me any stupid gaming there. Just see how both teams do in this game, and this may cause Japan their chance to be in the Group of 16 for World Cup 2006.

many updates to be done in this entry:

1. i'm all ready to do my degree starting from July. but i think i better do a foundation math class first, although need to pay an extra $299. i'm not really that confident in math now since i have not in touch with this subj for almost 2 yrs.
2. went out with my gals (jean,von,xhin) on last fri. mainly on the updates of our lives. von is now living on her own, since her squabble with her kid brother. it's really mean of him to say things like tat to his sister. although quarrels & conflicts are bound to happen in our daily lives, but never say all the fuck & shit to yr family. Taboo! xhin is also doing her degree with uniSIM. so it makes all 4 of us studying for our dear future. we brought up the subj of marriage. discussing who will get marry first between the 4 of us, Jean have been quarreling with her bf lately, and many issues coming up, she thinks she will only be able to get married when she is 30. Though not really sure abt xHin & KW, but I think they will last really long together. For me, no need to say much, nothing much gng on in my life. Just put in effort in studying first lah. So all 4 of us came to one conclusion that ah Von will get married first. then she grumbles that she wants to be our "jie mei" when we get married. Basically, i dun mind at all if my "jie-mei" is single or married lah. As long as we have fun, that's my main priority. Afterall, I'm the one who call the shots.. Haha.. anyway, we chatted a little while more and went hm after 10pm, so that we can all watch the kick-off match for World Cup 2006 between Germany & Costa Rica. adios my gals, so long, till we meet again...
3. lost $10 for the Germany & Costa Rica match. bought D-H. sian..
4. didnt bet for England & Paraguay match. kinda disappointed for tat game tatic by England. all defense, nothing much on attacking. only win by a fuck up own goal by Paraguay.
5. now watching Japan vs Australia. As expected, the ozzies are playing a rough game with the japanese. my new idol: Yoshikatsu Kawaguchi. really awesome goal keeper. keeping my fingers crossed.
6. Today is my kid sister's 20th birthday, now waiting for her to come home cut cake. Happy!

"pleaser"

I'm not much of a "pleaser". Meaning I am not able to please everybody around me. I have my emotions and you have yours too. So I cannot always put on a smiling face when I am having my mood swings or I am not in the mood to do so.
Sometimes, there are certain people whom are just too critical about the behavior of others. You may be happy and wish to chit chat but there are times when the other party may not want to.

I take it to heart whatever people say. For example, I get comments that I glare or stare at them. I can't help it because of my big eyes. I hope to change for the better, but I can't because I'm born with it.
Another example, I am very harsh with words. I tried to keep my comments to myself, but people with "suan" me, "why are you so quiet?"

What am I suppose to do? I can't please everybody, I can't adapt to the complicated social circle...
