the hand injury...

first of all, i want to thank all who have expressed their concern to me... it's nothing of a big deal, but care was what i needed the most...

okay, back to the topic. i was complaining of pain in my right wrist 2 to 3 months. I went to the polyclinic and was referred to NUH for specialist treatment. so yesterday i went for the appointment.

there are 2 doctors who attend to me (namely Dr. A & Dr. B).
so Dr.A said the same thing as the polyclinic doc, claiming it to be a ganglion. then he sent me to go for x-ray. He mentioned to me i can either choose to do a surgery to take it out or just leave it there, since it's not of a problem. Then the stupid lift at the hospital like playing pranks with me lor, wouldn't move at all... so walk all the way to the wards to take the lift up and went to find DDI.

when i finish the x-ray, go back to the doc's office and waited so very long. Dr.B attend to me finally. i think he is more senior lah. so he say i have the ganglion at a more awkward position. Now he say either surgery or injection. Injection meaning piercing the cryst and release the water sac. by then it was already 5 pm, so i must make up my mind whether i want to do the surgery or the injection. and i choose injection.

before doing the injection, i did ask whether there is anything i cannot do after the procedure or not. Dr.B say "No Problem, you can do anything."
i was given LA (local anasthetic, i assume that is how it's spelt.) then injected steroid and some stuff i dunno la... i refused to look at how he do it...
after all that shit, i went home lor.. smartass, my hand was paralysed & swollen. cannot move the hand... can't even do manual work today...

now the hand looks a bit "blue black"... but can function already...
he mentioned that there is a 10% chance that ganglions can come back after some time. so pray hard la..
